Repeatedly Failed to deliver, eventually asked to cancel and get a refund instead, no refund

I purchased a TV online on October 29th. The TV was scheduled to be delivered November 2nd, however they were unable to make the delivery due to a parked car in their way apparently (they left me a voicemail I didn’t receive till much later because AT&T was acting up). I called Best Buy (1-888-BEST-BUY) almost daily for the rest of the week, each time I was told someone would be calling me back the next day to reschedule delivery but I never once received a call back. At some point during this time the order was incorrectly marked as delivered by someone at Best Buy which further complicated the matter as no one I was able to speak to was able to correct this once it was in this state, again telling me they would escalate and I’d hear back. I never did.

I eventually asked to cancel the order and to refund me the order Best Buy had failed to deliver. They told me it was done and processing, that I need only wait for 7 business days or a billing cycle to receive my money back. It’s now been over a month and I still have not received my refund. I attempted to follow up again on Wednesday December 2nd and was told my case was being “escalated” and I should hear back by the end of the week. I once again have heard nothing back.

How do I get ahold of someone at Best Buy that can return my money?

Hello, m2ellis.

I appreciate you taking the time to join and write us about your order.

I would be reaching out to someone as well if this were to happen to me.

Let us see how we can get this taken care of for you. To start, could you please send me a private message with your full name, phone number, e-mail, and the order number?
