Refrigerator Delivery Rude

My mother had a refrigerator delivered on 7/30. The independent contractor were rude and did not want to help her. They refused to move the old refrigerator until my mother threatened to call the store. The delivery was $69. She also paid $29 to have to connect the water line, which they did not due, because they said she had a leak. I would expect more from Best Buy. Someone reach out to me so we can get this resolved.

A new refrigerator is something to look forward to, and we appreciate that your mother chose Best Buy for this investment. Our Geek Squad Agents and Geek Squad Authorized Service Providers should always be conducting themselves in a professional manner, so I am sorry to hear about how the interaction went. If one of my parents were in this situation, I would certainly want to be sure the matter was properly addressed, so I understand why you would want to do the same.


When major appliances are being installed, there may be some factors that could prevent the team from completing the service. If there had been a leak, it is likely the team would not have been permitted to proceed. That said, this should have been politely explained, so the proper steps could be taken to remedy the problem.
