DMullins, were you able to get your issue resolved? I am dealing with the same problem where shipt returned the item back to the store and couple months later I got a receipt showing the item was exchanged. I called customer service 3 times and went to the store, everytime I get an answer saying this will be escalated and it always ends with Bestbuy saying I won't get a refund because I exchanged the item. Is there a fraud going on?

I would suggest posting a message on here - I did get a response to my post and it was finally resolved. It wasn't fraud, it had to do with the item showing it was delivered that was causing the issue when they tried refunding it.
