Property damage during delivery

Hello, I recently had kitchen appliances delivered, and in bringing them in my home, the delivery drivers damaged a wood banister in multiple locations and damaged drywall with gouges and scratches in multiple locations. Everything had been recently remodeled, and I would like these issues fixed at no cost. What do I need to do in order to get Best Buy to cover the cost to repair this damage? I have documented everything with photos, I would be happy to submit that as proof.

Thanks for posting on our forum for support. I hate to hear about the damage that occurred during your kitchen appliance delivery, as this is most definitely now what we want for our customers. I understand your concern in this matter, and I'm happy to do what I can to help moving forward.


I recommend filing a claim with Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc. They are the insurance company that underwrites Best Buy claims for property damage that may occur during home deliveries or installations. To begin this claim process, Sedgwick can be reached at (800) 620-7409. Once your claim has been opened, you should be able to call (855) 832-1338 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. CT, Monday-Friday to get updates on your claim status.
