I bought a new washer, dryer, and two pedestals from Best Buy in Heath, Ohio, on 12/19/2021. The delivery drivers brought the washer, dryer, and one pedestal on January 18, 2022, because the other was on backorder. They hooked up the washer-dryer, installed the pedestal under the dryer, and ensured everything worked. They did a great job.
Then Best Buy scheduled another delivery to install the pedestal that had been on backorder. The delivery drivers came on January 18, 2022. They told me they worked for ATX Delivery Company out of Texas. They proceeded to unbox the pedestal, and due to Covid, I didn't stay there and watch everything they did. I went upstairs to put some clothes away, and one of the men hollered and said they were done. I said alright and proceeded to come downstairs. They didn't wait for me, which I thought was very odd. I noticed that the washer was lower than the dryer, and then I saw the levelers were lying on top of the washer; they didn't install them. They also put black marks on the wall. I then looked around and noticed the utility doors in the room were knocked off their tracks. However, it didn't end there, I looked down at the floor, which had dirt and some styrofoam on it, so I ran the vacuum and found numerous scratches on the wood floor.
I proceeded to take pictures the same day, and I emailed them to what I believe was the ATX Delivery Company Boss at {removed per forum guidelines}, which was the delivery driver, and explained what happened. I haven't received any response. I then contacted Best Buy, and they provided us a Case ID Number {removed per forum guidelines}. No other response from them. Then Best Buy scheduled another team to install the levelers, which came on January 20, 2022. While putting the levelers on, they found more scratches on the floor under the washer, and one of the installers took pictures. Since then, I have not heard anything from anyone about the damage done while installing the pedestal on my washer. I have made numerous calls to Sedgwick at {removed per forum guidelines} with no response.
