Like others who have posted here, I have had property damaged by a Best Buy install team. The specifics if you are interested are a damaged counter top and a driveway that had oil leaking onto it for 2 hours or more. This is of course the fault of the third party install team that Best Buy hired, but Best Buy is ultimately responsible.
Best Buy employs another third party, Sedgwick, to handle damage claims. Like the several others who have posted, I have been getting nothing but the "run around" from Sedgwick, four months of no progress and phone calls that are never replied to. This seems to be their modus operandi.
I am posting here today for two reasons: 1) to warm others that they may want to avoid Best Buy when it comes to appliance installations, and 2) I am hoping that a Best Buy employee might reach out to help, as I have seen that they have offered to help others. Phone support from Best Buy has also been useless.

Hello, Ognar.
Welcome to the Community Forums! Although I wish the circumstances were happier, we are happy to have you here. As someone who has had to replace several appliances over the last year, I understand what it's like when the installation doesn't go according to plan. I would be happy to take a closer look at this for you.
To get started, please use the blue button next to my name to send me a Private Message. In that message, please include your name, phone number, and email. If you happen to have your claim number for Sedgwick, please send that over as well. Thank you!
Regards,
