I bought a brand new home that I did not even move into at the time that Best Buy came to install in wall power kits and TVs. Per the forensic flooring expert, Best Buy caused permenant damage to the wood fibers in the floor. I was provided with Sedgwick Insurance's information to provide a resolution to this issue. Sedwick demanded that I go out and provide them with estimates for repair. They did not even bother to send out an adjuster to the property until at least 6 months after the damage was done. Once the adjuster looked at the cost of repair and talked to each independent flooring company to clarify the cost of repair, the claims examiner, Debra {removed per forum guidelines}, at Sedgiwck Insurance simply will not respond to resolve this claim. It has been almost 1 1/2 years. When I spoke to her supervisor, she merely stated "Debra is the best person to talk to about this". Imagine buying a $4.5M home, not even moving in, and Best Buy already damaged the floor for you and will not pay for repair for over 1.5 years. REDICULOUS! Please give the information for someone that can actually provide a resolution here.

Thank you for your reply. I just now sent you a message.
I would like the Forum to understand that if you are having dfficulty with obtaining payment for repairs, you should contact the Dept of Insurance immediately so they could investigate the matter. I did that a few days ago. The other side has 21 days to provide your complete file to the Dept of Insurance.
