No reply from Sedgwick

I had refrigerator delivered and my old one picked up on July 3rd, 2020. My wall was damaged during the process. The delivery guy sent the pictures in and I was given a "claim #". Well after calling for 3 weeks, I was finally told that my information was never submitted and a claim had not been opened. I found the number for Sedgwick online and called myself. After a few days I was contacted by Sean {removed per forum guidelines}. He quoted an offer and I advised him that I needed to speak with my landlord to make sure that it was a fair offer or did he want to go with a different option. I let him know that I would be calling him the next day. Sean sent me an email telling me to give my landlord his information in case he wanted to contact him. My landlord called the next day. No answer, no response. I have called numerous times and sent an email as well as a message through the Sedwick claims portal. I also updated my address in the portal and it says that the claims specialist will have to update my file. It has been since July 23rd and still no response. I even called this morning. I left a message for Sean and his coworker Bridget {removed per forum guidelines} who also sent an email stating to call her if I had any questions or concerns. You only get a vm when you call customer service for Sedgwick. How convenient. This matter has not been handled properly and it has been over a month now. Best Buy is losing me as a customer due to this. I will make sure to let EVERYONE I know about this experience. There is no reason to have to deal with such mess when your delivery driver caused the damage.

We aim to ensure our delivery and installation services are performed in a professional manner, which includes ensuring the safety of your product and home. Errors happen though, and so we have a property damage claims process to follow when such issues occur. 

 

I'm sorry to hear you've had such difficulties with your claim since receiving your initial quote and trying to ensure it was acceptable with your landlord. I want to say Thank You to everyone who helped get my issue resolved. Please continue to do what you do to help others. It really means a lot to have someone in your corner when they have tried repeatedly to get a matter resolved and gets ignored by the very ones who are supposed to be there to help.
