No call, No show

After waiting out a Saturday noon to 8pm window, the delivery team with my new oven and microwave never shows. A call to customer service, after half an hour, results in no answers, but the promise of a call back. That doesn't happen. Today, I chat with an online BB agent. She's elusive about the events that have transpired, with vague reference to a back end team that will make "corrective" actions. No consideration for the blown delivery. The only offer is to reschedule. The agent presents the option of taking a day off work to wait, yet again, or for a Saturday, waiting 2 weeks. Since taking a day off of work isn't an option right now, I take the Saturday. I ask for a time window, and the agent tells me 1-5pm. Moments later, I get a confirmation text to confirm my noon to 8pm appointment! I immediately tell the agent, who says not to worry about it, and she made a note to make it 1 to 5pm.

In light of what happens, I'm not seeing a lot of reason to trust this appointment, and suspect I'll be wasting another Saturday in two weeks. Without making it right for this weekend, and two weeks of delay, I'm not sure what to do next. Perhaps get the local manager involved?

Based on the responses so far, Best Buy gave someone else my appliances that I already paid for some time ago, and moved me to a backorder, which is why no one showed up. So far, no one has any power beyond telling me it's too bad what happened, and hopefully the next delivery window turns out better. What a joke.
