NEVER again XPO-Delivery issues from the start.

Placed an order in November to have appliances delivered and installed for a christmas gift to parents. The first attempt was scheduled for December 8th. At first was an early window but  later, was contacted that the schedule time changed. I thought "Ok, use to time changs". So informed the famiy that the delivery was stalled and it woulde later in the day. And that is when it all went down hill.  The delivery never came, we received no email, voicemail or any indication that it was not meeting the expected time.  Of course by now, you are unable to get a hold of anybody. Sunday I made contact with a young man named Justin {removed per forum guidelines}.  He was to be my point of contact until resolved. When he looked at the order, he could not explain what may of happened and where or why the break down in communication happened.  I have emailed and called his number and have not heard back, so not sure what "point of contact" means

 

Ok, so we don't know what happened or why, let just reschedule. I rescheduled for December 15th.  they book me the earliest appointment which I believe had a window of 7am to 1pm.  Great!  Family can hae their day and not wait around all day....WRONG.  Get an email and voicemail stating that my window has now changed to 12pm-6pm.  I tried to call back to talk to someone to let them know that this time does not work for my family. I did get a hold of somebody and asked if there was a reason and that this is my second attemp to have this delivered.  All they could tell me is that is the time their manager told them.I asked if I could speak to the manager or get a number, the answer was "no, but I can leave a message"  This is exactly how it happend last time and delivery never made it.

 

Your delivery company has left my family and I with no options. I get that yoiu may not be able to make the time of day window, but when you can't make the date and time window especially when you have already wasted 1 entire day without any reason...... If the delivery does not make it today, 12/15/2018 between 12-6, it will be cancelled.  Homedepot offers the same items for $1 more.  I still have other items to purchase and pretty sure, as long as XPO continues on this very poor customer service, I will be taking my business somewhere else.

And Boom....No respect.  Not only did they not make the new appointment, nobody called.  So yes, another no show no call.  Worst part, i called and talked to multiple people and nobody had an answer.  The best I got," Im sorry, I don't know what happened". 

 

Now I did have a young man Treven or something like that call me.  He said he was with the install team and asked me where my appliances were???  I was like dude, your the install team, you have my appliances.  He said that they were not at the warehouse.  So now I am questioning who he was and asked him where my stuff was. (It was mine, you did charge for it already)  he told me to call Bestbuy.  Spent almost an hr on the roundabout of people who can't get a hold of anybody so nobody can tell me where th break down in communication happened.

 

This was a christmas gift to my parents, that I ordered at the end of November.  Their stove top had started reach end of life. Thinking I had plenty of time before Christmas to get a new unit delivered and installed,   I guess couldn't of been more wrong. I am so upset right now.  I was excited, my parent were VERY excited and then this happened. 

 

I don't think that its the fact that it happened but twice it happened. and TWICE I have no answers as to how.  So now that 2 Saturdays were, in  sence, wasted.  I do not trust for this delivery to meet any expectitations.  This order is to be cancelled and will be taking the business elsewhere.

After looking at these posts, I can truly say that this is not the experience that we want you or your parents to receive. I know that you have made other plans with your appliance needs, but I would like to take this to our business partners in the local area and make your voice heard. Receiving something as a gift should be an exciting experience, especially during the holidays.
