Lost Package

FedEx lost or misdelivered my package and Best Buy is refusing to issue a refund. I have been calling FedEx since 12/28. And Best Buy since 1/3. I asked the representative to call FedEx on 3 way and instead she talks them herself and comes back and says that FedEx says the package has been lost but they can’t issue a refund because it states it has been delivered. My apartment complex reviewed the cameras and stated FedEX was not even there on the supposed delivery date and times. In fact I didn’t even get a message that the item was delivered until the day after. Now Best Buy is saying I need to go to local law enforcement. The only thieves in this situation is Best Buy. FedEx already explained to me that they don’t even let customers sign due to CoVid yet Best Buy keeps insisting they have a signature. Then they kept me on hold for 40 minutes to transfer me to FedEx without telling me. I don’t know what to do at this point. FedEx is still investigating the package and Best Buy is not being helpful at all.

You have to wait for FedEx to be done with Thier investigation.... If FedEx determines it was Thier fault, they refund bestbuy, who then refunds you. If it's determined the item was delivered correctly and later stolen it becomes a police matter.

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the community forums. Having a package lost or stolen is never a great experience, so I understand your concern. As nckhammond stated, once FedEx has finished with their claim you can be refunded, but if I would still file a report with your local Law Enforcement. Per our Shipping times and Cost section online it specifies the Title to Products, meaning you will need to address the loss with UPS. I am more than happy to look into this further for you.

Also FedEx says Best Buy needs to file a lost package claim which they still have not done. I’m getting really upset about this and will never do business with Best Buy again.
