Livid!

I can't even explain how upset I am by today. I purchased a dryer that was supposed to be delivered to my house today from 7am - 1pm. I literally had to take the day off from work to be here. At around 1pm I called the number that confirmed my delivery the day before. They explained they were going to look into my delivery and get back to me. Roughly 2 hours later I had to call AGAIN to find out about my delivery, only to be told there was nothing they could do for me and I would have to contact another number. I call this other number and I am then told they successfully found out the problem. The delivery driver couldn't find my house, didn't have service and instead of reaching me when they received service they called an office that was CLOSED! The delivery driver then decided to drive back home and that I would need to reschedule when the order was reopened in roughly 24 hours. SO, basically I need to reschedule and take another day off work and hope the guy can find my house?! I have family from out of state that can google map my house just fine. If the delivery driver would have contacted me 30 minutes prior like all my notifications said I would have received then I could have given him simplified directions if necessary. I'm so livid and dissapointed I'm not even sure I want to continue shopping here. This entire purchase was a dissapointment and a waste of my time.

I was not once contacted by my order today. When I said they called a closed office, they contacted a Best Buy closed office to provide their status. No one I contacted would have even been able to retrieve this status until they opened up later today.

Welcome to our forums, albeit under such unfortunate circumstances.  Having to take time out of your day to wait for an appliance delivery can be an inconvenience by itself, so to hear your delivery was not completed as expected would be an understandably frustrating experience, and it’s on I regret to hear you’ve gone through with your new dryer.

 

Since posting to our Support Forums, were you able to get this delivery service rescheduled?
