Late delivery

I ordered a fridge on Sunday evening to be delivered today, Wednesday. Delivery availability time selected was between 7am - 1 pm. I was called on Monday to confirm delivery. I missed the call due to work, and returned the phone call. They verified and added notes that I confirmed delivery between 7am-1pm on Wednesday, August 21. I made sure to arrange my schedule so that I would not have to work in the morning on Wednesday. I received an e-mail yesterday at 6:13 pm stating that they estimate the refrigerator to be delivered between 11am-1pm. I received another email this morning at 7:55am stating that the product will be delivered between 11am - 1pm. I then received a phone call at 11:15 am stating that they now estimate my product to be delivered close to 2:30pm. This seems to be a trend, and it is unacceptable. They are obviously understaffed or overcommitted if there are so many similar complaints. I have to reschedule afternoon work appointments, work later, and cancel dinner arrangements due to this late delivery. It is a very big inconvenience.

Welcome tot he Best Buy Community forums. I'm sorry about the scheduling issues you've had with your appliance delivery. I know how tight schedules can be, and how hard it can be to be without an appliance. We'd like to see if we can find a solution for you, if that delivery didn't end up making it.


Please give our dedicated appliance support line a call at (800) 304-1259. They are specifically set up to help out with issues like this, so I hope they'll be able to get this fixed.
