Installation Nightmare !

I purchased a washer from on 11/21 {removed per forum guidelines} Order was expected to be delivered and installed on 11/24. It was delivered, but the delivery team determined they needed more people to move the appliance to the 2nd floor. Why was this information not captured in first place and avoid the hassle for both the customer and bestbuy?


Afterwards I was told that someone will call and provide a new schedule. I received a voice-mail indicating next date to be 12/4 and if that was not acceptable call the best buy number ( not the warehouse number which actually does the scheduling ) and re-schedule it.


I did reschedule it to 11/30 and then to make sure everything was OK I called the bestbuy number, was on hold for 30+min and then transferred to warehouse team on hold for 30+min and then got connected to someone.


Warehouse team told me that they will call me back to confirm if everything was ready for installation on 11/30. No call came back. I took time off from work on 11/30 and waited for delivery and installation team. Delivery person called around 1:30PM on 11/30 and when I asked if he has neccessary number of people to move the appliance to the desired place. He said he will call back and never called back or showed up.


I reached out to BestBuy again, same routine call best buy on hold then connect then get xferred to warehouse after 40 minutes. This time warehouse guy tells me to wait till 6:00 PM and I told him that I do not see anyone coming as per text message I was suppose to wait between 1:00 and 3:00, this guy put me on hold to confirm and then after 10 mins the call gets disconnected and no call back. A complete waste of 90 minute call.


This whole experience of purchasing appliance on BestBuy can at best be described as miserable experience. I swear I am done with BestBuy and never buy anything from them..Completely pathetic customer service.
