Installation Guy - MAJOR fail - and ruined my floors and walls!! Sooooooo annoyed

I had my new LG french door fridge installed yesterday morning around 8:30 a.m.  I came downstairs at 5:30 pm to a flood of water in my kitchen and my dining area.  Frantically, called my husband to hurry home.  He walked in the door - and said the refrigerator is leaking by the wall.. Pulled out the refrigerator and discovered that the installer did not tighten the water line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It had been leaking since early a.m.  Husband immediately fixed the water line to stop the leak.   Water all underneath my brand new hard wood floors .. all wicked up into the drywall behind the refrigerator.. all seeping out from the cabinets the the fridge was set back near.  OMG.  Trying to call BB for an hour - bounced around - on hold for almost 30 minutes at time.  My husband called the store manager -- who told him all he could do was give him the 800 number to start filng a claim for household damage.  Which we did.  Meanwhile we have fans trying to dry up this mess.. but the floors will need to replaced in those areas and husband is most concerned about the drywall.  You can step on the hardwood floor and the water starts coming squiritng up.  So annoyed - this really ruined my purchase experience of nearly $3K.  So annoyed...   I hope that BB makes this right.  We are waiting for a claims adjuster.  Meanwhile the fridge is sittting in the middle of my kitchen.  DId I say that I was annoyed??  And I purchased the geek squad protection plan -- not having much faith in that right now either.   HORRIBLE experience and I can only hope it gets rectified quickly.

Getting a new refrigerator is typically a very fun and exciting time, so I regret to hear that this was far from the case with this installation. I do sincerely hope that everyone in the home is okay.
