Re: Install unpacked on the street?

Generally speaking, unboxing these items outdoors where there is more room and less chance of scratching/breaking something in your home. Refurbished appliances don’t come in boxes, so that’s a good sign. Typically the trays inside are fastened down from the factory so if you see them removing zip ties or twist ties you should be good to go.

Re: Install unpacked on the street?

Hello DoriVereau,

Jdogg836 is correct, the delivery team will unbox the unit in the driveway or garage if there is enough space to do so to avoid damaging the unit. This also aides the delivery team when they inspect the unit for damage due to the natural light outside that would help them spot any defects or dents.

Resale appliances do not come in boxes, they would be delivered in a wrap.
