Install cancelled

In November I purchased a remote start kit from Best Buy rather than a local Compustar "PRO" dealer because Best Buy could schedule me in sooner. It was not even the system that I wanted, but being the start of the cold season I decided to go with Best Buy and add on other componets later. After over a month of waiting for my appointment I get a message the day of saying it was cancelled.and the next available appointment is in late February. So now I just lost a day of work and will now have to schedule another day. Lost out on the system that I wanted which would of been installed all together sooner and cheaper in the long run. Apparently my store in a city with over 250k only has one installer even though they are so booked in advanced. Makes me wonder If they even had someone capable of installing it. Are any of the installers ASE certified? Getting a little worried and wondering if I should just cancel the whole transaction.

I’m not entirely sure why an appointment would have been cancelled the day before if it was scheduled so far in advance, but I’m thankful you stopped by the Best Buy forums to let us know about this, and I appreciate the opportunity to shine some light on our Geek Squad Autotech’s.
