I should have read this forum first

I didn't reaize so many problems were had with Best Buy Delivery. We had such a good experience in store but that all went away when delivery was attempted. The driver refused delivery stating he didn't have a safe place to park and was very rude.


1. we live in a city.

2. We have a 10 foot wide area to park in and that was free of parked cars

3. The truck fit within the white lines. He was a little over but he wasn't close to the curb so if he tried a little more, he would have been within the white lines.

4. even if he didn't fit, plenty of delivery trucks, block part of the road and people go around. That is what you do when you live in a city

5. I have lived here for three years and have had plenty of things deleivered. Even a giant moving truck was able to fit.

Best Buy was unable to reschedule the delivery until the items were returned to the wharehouse. I had to suggest creating another order so the delivery could be confirmed. The escalation agent was nice but didn't seem to have many suggestions on how to solve my issues and the solve was from what I suggested. I was hoping for a rush delivery but it's not rescheduled for Monday, three days past today. The agent just kept saying that the delivery was a third party and she could send me a customer loyaty gift but never said what that was or confirmed she would send it. I understand it was out of her control but I was hoping for more ownership and an earlier rescheduled delivery.

and to add! When I placed the new order, they couldn't add a hose that I needed because of inventory they were doing. So I have to go to the store to purchase it and pick it up. when she told me she couldn't add it, I had to solve that problem again and offer to pick it up from the store.
