Today, we had the Best Buy contractor come in to install a Kitchen aid oven that we ordered along with many items totaling to more than 10k. I had a very uneasy feeling right from the moment I said hello to him. He did not respond and looked away. While getting stuff from his truck, he greeted and was talking with my Neighbour. I didn't think much about it.
The installation was not done correctly and when asked about it, I received the most condescending and confrontational responses to my concerns. My children were around me and I felt extremely uncomfortable with the way it was going. Instead of addressing our concerns, he was bullying me that we weren't the only ones ordering these ovens and that this was how they all adjusted with the installation.
He left the oven running without giving me any instructions. Once I told him, I was getting uncomfortable with his confrontation, he took his stuff and walked out. I am shocked and shaking that someone behaved like that in my home!
I shut the oven and reached out to the person who took our order and payment extremely fast. No response at this shocking experience.
I am feeling very helpless that we trusted BestBuy and you let someone who behaved in a threatening manner to
me when my kids were around as well.
