Geek Squad Service Refund

I recently had a TV calibrated by  GeekSquad and not satisfied with the service. I followed the instructions to file for a refund from the emailed receipt. The tech only gave me half of what I paid for, supposed to be two profiles I only received one, but was charged full price. I've spoken to numerous people but been getting nothing but the run arounds from everyone I've spoken with. 

 

Just because a service was recorded as "Complete" doesn't mean I shouldn't be able to receive a refund. That is the biggest joke of an answer ever. Supposedly the matter was escalated but I haven't heard anything in a week. Who else can I speak to about this mess?

Typically services that are completed are not refundable. In these instances, a redo is generally in question.

I perform ISF calibrations for the Magnolia side of the business, we utilize the same CalMan software. What brand and model of tv do you have? What is the issue with the calibration?

It's a Samsung UN75NU6080F. I got to asking the tech about the profiles because on the Geek Squad website two would be made, a Day and Night, he said the Night profile wasn't setup because I didn't need. I asked if I ws getting charged 1/2 price since I'm only getting half the product/serivce, he said he couldn't do that. 

 

He mentioned that since my TV wasn't in a blacked out room, it didn't need a night profile setup. If that's the case it should be stated on the website and not charged full price. Am I supposed to get profiles for my Xbox too?

I have had situations where only one is needed as well, but this is usually because the room is always dark and lighting is well managed.  In these situations I cover it with the client that they have a lighting situation which does not warrant a second "day" mode.  In those situations, I've only had one client still insist on an additional mode.  Of course, it's real easy as the light didn't change so I simply copied all the settings over to the additional mode.  

 

When the light changes significantly in the room, there is a major difference in where you set the gamma and it does affect the contrast and brightness setting as well.  How much does the light change from day to night?  Being "blacked out" is not as important as just overall lighting changes.  If there is a significant difference between day and night, both modes should have been made.

Thanks for your reply! That's what I was thinking. We have a very large window in the living room and another half the size of the large window and our glass balcony sliding doors... so yes there's a big difference in lighting for my TV.
