Geek Squad was supposed to reinstall a security camera which was not installed correctly. The warranty expired. Appt was for today. I paid $100 for one wireless cam install yesterday. The installer called me this morning telling me he would have to charge me to remove the camera. I asked the price. They said they were in a hurry and couldn't tell me. Asked them to text it. No, too busy. I removed the camera myself.
They arrived and said they had to charge me another fee of $100 for install into another area than where it was. I thought I was being conned and price gouged. What would I be charged for next? Told them to leave.
Is there anyone to complain to about this? Contacted local store and Geek Squad corporate. They gave me the run around.

Good afternoon, LadyDIY,
Thank you for taking the time to join our Support Forums and share your feedback with us. Please know that our Support Forums are moderated out of our Corporate Headquarters here in Richfield, MN, so you’ve certainly come to the right place to voice your concerns, and I’ll be happy to document your feedback.
I’m sorry to hear there was an issue with the camera installation service you purchased from us, as this certainly doesn’t sound like the experience we hope to provide our customers when shopping with us. In regards to the uninstallation of a home security camera, this would be an additional service, and I apologize if any fees associated with this service were not relayed to you in a more professional manner.
Using the information you’ve provided upon joining our Support Forums, I see you’ve since cancelled your installation service order. While I understand this experience has led you to question your future with Best Buy, I am hopeful you’ll consider shopping with us again, so we might provide you a better experience in the future.
