Formal Complaint

I will never shop here again. The staff in the store were nice and helpful. No complaints there. So I bought a washer and dryer, the delivery guys scratched my wood floors and tried to cover it up. I made a claim and have yet to here from them. A day later I was able to use the washer and dryer (still moving in). Well the washer didn’t work, wouldn’t spin. I called Best Buy and said I wanted both picked up. They said okay and that they’d refund my money. So a different company came to haul the defective products away. That company informed me that the dryer was hooked up improperly and I had a gas leak. The previous installer told me to run the dryer and the gas smell would go away(never did) It’s just my young son and me there, we could have been seriously hurt. I finally see my refund and they shorted me almost $100. So I paid for a scratched floor, wasted time, and a gas leak that could have at the very least destroyed my new home. I called to dispute the amount and was told I have to go into the store, which is only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Doesn’t make sense because the other portion was done by phone. I went through Best Buy Outlet to save money as I am a widow and on a fixed income with a child to support. Rather than save money I threw away almost $100. I have nothing but a damaged floor to show for it. Thoroughly disgusted and will be shopping elsewhere. Guess you get what you pay for.
