Formal Complaint - Faulty Washer Installation

Dear Sir/Madam,

I had very problematic experience with my washer install.  Here's a summary:

  • Initial installers did NOT identify that my drain hose was too short
  • They tried to make it fit
  • They did NOT test to see if it drained properly
  • Upon 1st use the machine leaked and caused damage to my neighbors property
  • It then took 3+ days to get the a technician back
  • When the technician came he was very helpful, but he did not have the necessary part to fix the washer since he was a repair technician and not an installer
  • I had to go out and buy the part myself

I want to know:

  1. How to deal with damage claism from my neighbor?
  2. How I will be compensated for the trouble for this order

Thanks.

Re: Formal Complaint - Faulty Washer Installation

Dear Sir/Madam,

In addition to the situation described below, I spoke with an installation rep re:  this issue.  He said he could not address the issue.  I asked to be connected to a supervisor.  He said that he couldn't do that but promised that a supervisor would call back in 24 hours.

I received no call back.

Agent's name was Pedro from the Ontario call center.
