Best Buy installed a Bosch dishwasher in Feb, 2019. Two month later I notice moisture around my tile grout and steam coming from unit between counter and top of dishwasher. Called Best Buy. Installer came, pulled out the unit. It was due to a faulty gasket. Back of unit was wet, mold, sheet rock crumbled.
Was told, to keep everything as is and insurance would take care of everything.
It’s been over a month. I am getting the run around by Best Buy and their so called insurance company, Sedgwick.
I now have MORE mold in my cabinets. My tile grout is disciolored and warped drawers and cabinets. Best Buy says its out of their hands and into Sedgwick. Sedgwick tells me its now a third part Brasscraft [ maker of install kit ] Can’t tell you how many phone calls Ive made trying to get help.
My purchase was with Best Buy not a third party. Do I have to get an attorney to resolve this?

Welcome to the Best Buy forums and thank you for choosing us for your dishwasher purchase!
I appreciate you taking the time to join and write us about the damage to your home. Having the need to work with an insurance company is complex enough without it being complicated by communications issues, and no resolution for over a month. I was quite discouraged to read of your situation and I regret any inconvenience to you. I'd like to help if I can, but will need some more details to begin.
I’d like to look into this further for you. Please send me your Sedgwick claim number, the next steps they are advising you to take, full name, phone number, Customer Service PIN off your receipt or order number, and e-mail connected to your BestBuy.com account. To send it, click on the blue “Private Message” button next to my signature when logged in.
I look forward to your reply!
