FORMAL COMPLAINT

Hello all, 

I have been a Best Buy customer for almost 20 years, and have spent THOUSANDS using their credit line over the years. We have bought TV's, Laptops, Macbooks, Ipads, Refrigerators, Washers/Dryers, Air Conditioners etc.,

 

I would like to file a FORMAL COMPLAINT regarding the treatment I received recently from their online customer service division, and the delivery services used to deliver the TV I bought recently. I bought a 65" LG 4k UHD TV online, and scheduled for delivery. The TV came, and upon opening the package it was discovered that the TV was absolutley destroyed. We took photos and called customer service. I scheduled a replacement delivery, and after taking the day of from work, the second TV was delivered DESTROYED IN THE SAME SPOT. Again, I took photos and called customer service and the most they were willing to do was offer me a 20$ gift card and accept the TV as a return!?

 

This is an INSULT to the loyalty I have shown Best Buy over the years. I will be taking my business elsewhere and sharing this experience with everyone I can. DO NOT HAVE PRODUCTS DELIVERED BY THEIR DELIVERY SERVICE, THEY WILL ARRIVE DESTROYED.

I'm terribly sorry to hear about the delivery experiences you've endured when trying to receive a TV from us.  I'm definitely wanting to take a closer look at the order notes to see if I could lend a helping hand, and I'm thankful you took the time to register with the Best Buy forums to bring this to our attention!

 

Please send me a private message containing your full name, phone number, email address, order number, and any case numbers you've been provided.  I'm unable to promise a different outcome without digging a little deeper, but I'm crossing my fingers I'll hear back from you soon!

JJ I just wanted to say thank you for your assistance. The Geek Squad rep in my area, Alexandra, and yourself were extremely helpful in making this situation right. I really appreciate your and her efforts, it was a completely different experience than the first few go-arounds.
