Extremely Frustrated

I had a subwoofer installed into my car from best buy. After having it for almost a year it stopped working and when my mechanic went to investigate he noticed that not only did best best install the wiring wrong in my car they drilled a hole where there shouldn't be and caused my car to leak underneath my carpet when has caused some rust on my floor board and my system to no longer work. I've called best buy several times only to be pawned off to a neighboring store location and given the run around. It seems like noone is willing to help.
I spoke to a manager in King of Prussia branch Brian a week ago and he said he would get back to me but has yet to do so. I am extremely frustrated with how my situation has been handled. All I'm looking for is for my system and wiring to be redone, someone in upper management needs to reach out to me to help fix this situation.

Welcome to the Best Buy Community forums. Thanks so much for reaching out to us about this. I’m sorry for the bad experience you had with that install, and with trying to get a claim filed on it. 


Were you given a claim number when you spoke with that manager? Our next steps will depend on if you received that claim number yet. It sounds like you didn’t receive one, but I want to be sure.

I did not receive anything from that manager. He just told me he had just started the GM position there and would have to talk to the installation dept.
I also want to note that the job was originally done at the Downingtown location but they move their location and no longer offer installation so referred me to the King of Prussia location.
