I bought a Bosch diswasher from Best Buy in Western Hills (Cincinnati, Ohio). It included free installation and delivery and I paid to have my old one taken away. The dishwasher was delivered on 1/23/2020. The delivery guy advised me that Bosch dishwashers need to be plugged in rather than hardwired like my old one. He said the store should have provided me with the plug, which they did not. He said he had one in his truck and charged me an additonal $80.00 to install ( he had me make the check out to him, Robert Hackworth). I went to the store the next day (1/24/2020) and talked to my salesman and advised him of the extra charge and that the check be made out to the deliveryman. He didn't think that was right and had a manager come over. They said this was done through a third party and would check into it and let me know what they found out. It has been almost a month and I have heard nothing about the extra charge. The outlet that was installed under my sink was a normal 110 outlet that you plug a tv, lamp, etc. into. The outlet the store showed me looked nothing like that and said it cost $20.00.. The outlet this guy put in could be bought at Home Depot for about $10.00 and would short out if it got wet. I believe I was overcharged and should be refunded the overpayment. I also believe this guy put the money in his pocket. If he charges 10 people this extra money, he's making a lot of extra money on the side. Since I have nothing from my local store, I am contacting Best Buy myself and hope I get an answer.

Welcome to the Best Buy Community forums. Thanks so much for reaching out about this. I know that unexpected charges aren't ever a good experience.
I'd be happy to follow up with that store to see if we can get an update on the investigation for you. Please send me a private message through the link in my signature below this post. If you include your name, email address, and phone number, along with the order number, I'll get started.
