We purchased a dishwasher from bb outlet in Marlton NJ last Saturday. It was delivered three days later, but the installer never showed, then today (Thursday) someone came to “haul away” the old one. The receipt shows that we paid over $150 extra for the service.
Today we called to find out what happened and was told they never scheduled the installer. So suddenly no one will be available until the 22nd. That’s going to be three weeks after we got the unit which is still sitting in plastic in the middle of our kitchen. (Old unit is dead so it’s hand washing for the next month)
Since most local places sell dishwashers with next day installs, three weeks seems both excessive and suspicious.
The sales man also sold us an electrical cord kit, saying we would likely not need it as our model normaly comes with it, but it was best to have it just in case, we could return it if the installer doesn’t need it… well now it going to be over 30 days before we will know if it’s needed or not. Let me guess it will be too late to return then?
Just very disappointed in this level of service

How long it takes to get an installer out really depends on the area, and how far out the installers in that area are scheduled at that time. I would love to look into this for you.
