I was to have a fridge and dryer delivered on July 21. I was given a 4-hour window from 8:30 to 12:30 PM. I set aside my half day to be at home. At 11 am, I got a call saying that the delivery would now take place between 3 and 4 pm. I had to reschedule my afternoon commitment. Around 3:30, I emptied my fridge. Later I got a call saying that the deivery would now be from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. I had to cancel my appointments. Finally, the guys showed up after 6 pm. Basically, I had to waste half a day beyond my 4-hour window for this delivery. This is just not done. I wonder how BB compensates me for my wasted time. Does it have a clause with its delivery contractor that includes some sort of penalty that is passsed on to the customer? BB must be having some procedure and policy regarding this.
