Delivery team no show

Ordered a new microwave and had a 1400-1800 delivery window today. Removed the existing microwave and took the afternoon off of work. 1815 I get a call from the delivery company stating the delivery truck broke down earlier in the afternoon and I’d have to call Best Buy to reschedule. They couldn’t even give me a heads up when the truck broke down. I called Best Buy and was informed the next appointment is 1 week from today and there was nothing further they could do. My kitchen is a mess from emptying out cabinets to remove the old over the range unit and now I have to wait a week? Terrible customer service and they don’t hold the delivery team accountable. If I want to escalate it, it will be 24-48 hours to get a call back per customer service….unbelievable.

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Best Buy Forums. When I order an appliance, I expect it to be delivered on the scheduled date, or given ample heads up if the delivery is unable to happen, so I understand your frustration.
