I ordered a microwave on bestbuy.com to be delivered yesterday (April 19th). During the evening of the 18th, I received an email, phone call, and text message stating delivery will occur 4-8 pm on the 19th. The 19th came and went, no microwave was delivered. I haven't received any communication about my delivery since the 18th. I looked up my order on bestbuy.com, and the only information on there is "We need you to schedule your appointment." for the microwave, and "We canceled your order of this item on Apr 19, 2021." for the delivery.
I already scheduled the appointment, back in April 8th. I took a day off of work on the 18th so I could be at home when the microwave arrived. What is going on here?!
I tried calling Best Buy, but the call center is closed (I figured Best Buy would have a 24-hr call center, guess not).

Based on your description, that has not been your experience, which is never ideal, especially considering you had taken the day off for this delivery. I received an email from Best Buy to reschedule. The earliest date it offered was May 1st. I called Best Buy, waited 30 minutes on hold, and got a hold of someone. The person couldn't figure out why Best Buy missed the initial appointment, and got me scheduled for delivery on April 21st. I was able to switch shifts with someone at work in order to be home for delivery, and the microwave was delivered on the 21st.
So I don't need any further support for the delivery. But this experience, combined with the fiasco I experienced during delivery of a wall oven, has taught me that Best Buy cannot handle delivery of major items like appliances.
