Delivery delay and terrible customer service

We bought all new kitchen appliances as well as a washer/dryer, spending over $9000. This purchase was 6 months ago for a house under construction. Delivery was scheduled for ALL items for Oct 28. Only 2 items arrived. When I contacted customer service through the chat, I was told that the rest of the items aren’t even here, they’re in a warehouse SOMEWHERE. Now we are moving into a house with no appliances to actually cook food. I keep getting texts 1-2 times a day that “it’s time to schedule delivery”. But of course, when I’m ready to do that, I’m unable to do so online and just get messages saying no delivery dates are available.

Is the chat history available somewhere? So far I have not been able to find it.

Unfortunately, after speaking with 3 Best Buy customer service personnel within 3 days, this issue was still not resolved. I actually asked if they could contact Whirlpool to find out when the appliances would be shipped from the warehouse, and the customer service representative acted like that was a great idea….and proceeded to give me the number to Whirlpool for me to contact them myself. Unfortunately, since I had not ordered directly through Whirlpool, I had no order number for them to even check the status of the delivery. After getting absolutely nowhere with Best Buy customer service, we went to the local store in person and basically had to demand a refund. Best Buy did refund the amount for the appliances that were never delivered, although the joke was again on us. The refund amount was credited to our Best Buy card that had already been paid off. My husband went to Lowes the same day, bought new appliances, had them delivered, and they have already been installed. All within 3 days. I have never had an issue with Best Buy, but if I shop there again, it won’t be for an order in advance. For any future purchases, I will leave with the item at the same time.
