Delivery Delay

I purchased a kindle Paperwhite in store on Monday 7/18/22. The associate assured me it would be delivered the next day. It was even printed on my reciept and showed on my account as the delivery day. Tuesday came and went, no delivery. Wednesday, I checked my account and it said my kindle would be delivered on Thursday and game me the UPS tracking, which said the same thing, delivery by 7pm Thursday evening. Well no delivery. I wake up this morning, check UPS tracking, it says no available date. Check best buy and it says there's been a delay. The whole point of buying from best buy was I was told I could get it the next day. It was for a birthday gift. I didn't mind waiting a day or two since it was so late Monday afternoon when I purchased, but this is ridiculous. I could have drove to the store it was at to pick it up. I wouldn't be so upset if the associate had not assured me several times that it would be delivered next day.
