Best Buy / GeekSquad delivered a treadmill to my house last week Wednesday. The delivery team was not GeekSquad itself, Best Buy contracted a 3rd party for the delivery and installation. The delivery van looked like it was 40 years old, the crew itself (two men, one very obese) could barely carry the treadmill upstairs without me helping them. Why send helpers that are too obese to get up to the second floor??
While bringing the treadmill upstairs to the second floor they damaged the stairwell, the entire walls have been scratched, even some holes punched in the walls, our hardwood floors and stairs have been scratched and they even damaged the walls in the room they installed the treadmill. I have purchased the house a month ago and had everything repainted and renovated. Called 20 minutes after delivery was finished and was told that someone will call me within 48 hours. No one called me after two days. Called customer service again, was told it can take up to 5 business days to get a call from the insurance company. Waited another 5 business days, no one called.
At this point I am just fed up with Best Buy, was lied to multiple times by Best Buy customer service, I am stuck with damage to my property and no one wants to reimburse me for that. Your customer service is a joke, the insurance company does not answer the phone, overall VERY VERY POOR experience!!!
