Damage to Condo during Installation - 3rd Party Vendor Claim Denial

My mother had a washer and dryer installed at her home and she was told that a door needed to be removed to complete the installation, and then it could be put back on. The installation was completed and door put back on, but they stripped every screw hole in the door when reattaching the hinge because they were using the drill setting (i.e. no torque cutoff) on the drill. I know this because they forgot their drill and needed to use my deceased father's, and they didn't put it back so it remained on the floor until I came to visit. The screws are popping out of the door and periodically my mother needs to push them back in by hand so she can close the door. 


I filed a claim with Best Buy and was told that they weren't responsible, but rather their third-party installation team would handle this. I was directed to filing a claim with them and after chasing them for a response for a month the claim was denied. All I can say is don't trust the installation teams that best buy provides. Best clearly does not guarantee their work, passes the buck, and third-party does nothing to help with honoring any issue as "the delivery was signed off on". An elderly lady was taken advantage of because she signed for the delivery without knowing she was signing away her rights to any damage that may have occurred. The problem wasn't realized immediately. Unprofessional all around and my family will look elsewhere for our technology needs. I have been a long time customer of Best Buy but, like many, will look to cheaper online sources in the future.
