Damage during installation

I had a dash cam installed. The camera never worked when my husband while it was being installed by Geek Squad. He left with a non functional dash cam. According to the guy who installed it, he said it's an issue with the camera and to contact the manufacturer. When I contacted the manufacturer, they thought it was an issue with the rear camera and went through the motion of testing with new wires and cameras. After this didn't work, they advised to send the front facing dash cam for service. Upon removing the camera my husband noted that the charging port was damaged. I have pictures to show the damage. We sent the camera to the manufacturer and they said that upon installation the USB charger was forced into the port where the metal part inside the port was dislodged. Since this was damaged during installation it is not covered under warranty and need to purchase a new one. This is frustrating that we paid for professional installation and it was damaged during the process. The camera didn't even work when it was installed! We had no idea it was damaged until we had to send it in to repair. We want assistance with this matter. I have pictures to show the defect and an email from the manufacturer noting that the cable was forced in. We paid a lot of money for this equipment and installation. We need this camera to replace by Geek Squad for damaging our equipment.

Hello,

I am unable to contact the store. Whenever I call I am never forwarded to the store but to customer service. If you can connect me with the store, I would appreciate it. The camera can't be repaired, so what would be my options?
