Customer service is a nightmare

We purchased a Whirlpool stacking dryer and its partner dryer at the Somerville Best Buy.  Today they were delivered to our new condo without the stacking kit. No one notified us that the stacking kit was backordered.  California Closet is soon scheduled to install shelving and it will not fit unless the washer and dryer are stacked. It will cost $500 to reschedule California Closet.   When we called Best Buy customer service the representative had no empathy, was rude, unhelpful and dismissive.  She offered no solutions that could accommodated our schedule.  She told us to order a comparable part on Amazon. Headed to Home Depot where the part was in stock.  We should have gone  to Home Depot in the beginning.  We have an appointment on December 11 with Best Buy for a consultation to purchase two TVs, a security system and a router.  We lost our confidence in Best Buy and will cancel that appointment.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your recent experience with us. Not having a required piece to complete the installation on time is never what we would have wanted to happen. I wish this had been identified sooner so this could have been avoided.

Although we cannot change what has already happened, we would be glad to see if we have any options to assist. We would not want this to be the last interaction you have with Best Buy.
