Cooktop Delivery & Installation got rescheduled 3 times!

I placed an order for Samsung gas cooktop on July 19th, and the delivery and installtion appointment have been cancelled and rescheduled 3 times. Yes, THREE times!

 

I called the customer service department the first time (August 5th) and was told that they ran out of that item so I had to wait for another week even it was shown available on their website. 

 

Then, I scheduled for the second appointment (August 14th) and was told that my item was backordered and will be available on the August 28th. 

 

Today is August 27th, which is the day before the third scheduled appointment, my order got cancelled again! This is really frustrating. I was told they ran out of the cooktop model I bought everytime I called, and they gave me the availability date and never keep their promise. 

 

They have rescheduled for the 4th appointment on September 4th and I wonder there will be any further delay.

Again! Today is the 4th reschedule appointment for my cooktop delivery and installation, and I've been waiting and waiting at home for nothing!

i just called Bestbuy and was told it's on backordered again.

Hello, mabelwan,

 

I’m very sorry to hear that the unit they expected wasn’t at the warehouse as they had thought when rescheduling you for today. If a product isn’t at our warehouse, teams would be unable to complete a delivery. At this point, as my systems do not have an estimate on when more inventory will become available, I would highly recommend working with your local store to reselect a different cooktop with more immediate availability.

 

To that end, I would be more than happy to send a message to your local Best Buy store about this to see if they can assist you in reselection of a cooktop that will fit your needs. There appear to be stores near you in San Francisco, Colma, and San Bruno. Do you have a preferred store location you like to visit?
