Complaint - Took day off work for delivery and no-show

I purchased a 58" Sharp TV - order# {removed per forum guidelines} and scheduled the delivery for today, which was confirmed.  I work 45 miles from my home, so I took the day off for this delivery.

I get the following messages:  

Email 9:07am - "You can expect your agent to arrive at approximately 9:10am"

Email 9:07am - "Brad, thanks for letting us serve you" and "Service completed 3/11/2019"

So I wait till 10am and call Geek Squad who tells me that my order is in delivery status because this TV is not available anywhere in my area for delivery.  The first question is, "why didn't they already know this?"  The second question, "Why did a get a message that said they were arriving at 9:10am if it was never on a truck?"

Obviously I'm very unhappy at this point and after telling me that they can't deliver until Thursday now, I cancel the whole order.

This is now costing me money because I took the day off to receive this order.  It would have been even more loss if I had to take Thursday off also.

Welcome to the Best Buy forums! Although, I wish this were under better circumstances, but I'd like to see if there is anything I may be able to do to make this a better experience for you.
