Charged for a TV - No TV delivered!!!!

I was charged for a TV 3 weeks ago and delivery has not happened. in fact, there is ZERO update on it even though I have called Best buy daily for the last 7 days. They keep telling me "we cant do anything, its at the distribution center". I've probably spent about an hour (if not more) daily on this issue with Best buy. 

 

1) WHY WAS I BILLED before the TV was delivered? 

2) How irresponsilbe is it that no one is calling me updates on this TV and I am having to call daily for updates?

 

BEST BUY is beyond negligent. 

 

oh and I still have no TV or update.

From what you've described here, I can't say I blame you for your TV delivery experience up to this point, as I would certainly be frustrated under similar circumstances.  Purchasing a brand new TV should be a fun and exciting experience, so I'm sorry to hear this hasn't been the case with your most recent order.

 

I'd like to look into this TV order further and offer any additional assistance I can, however, I'll need a few pieces of additional information from you in order to do so.  I'll ask that you use the blue "Private Message" button in my signature to send me the following information:

 

  • Your first and last name

This is the SAME run around I get every time I email you guys and call you. THERE IS NO ACCOUNTABILITY. I have already emailed and still have no update.

OMG. Now I have been charged for 2 TVS - thats $2K and still NO TV. The warehouse doesnt have the TV and cant do anything about it. IS THIS EVEN A BUSINESS???? WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING.

The delivery of ONE TV has been the worst experience in my life. NO ONE EVER CALLS me with updates. 

 

I called COSTCO about the same TV and they can deliver it on Monday and price match. SAME with Amazon. GO WITH ONE OF THOSE VENDORS. 

 

I will never do business with best buy ever again. They have NO ability to escalate an issue. Or call back. or for me to call them and get a differnt person.

3 weeks later and NO UPDATE and no CALLS from Best Buy to give me any details. 

 

NEVER NEVER SHOP HERE. No sense of responsibility or accountability.

Have you followed up with Allison-BBY?  When I see the words "NO UPDATE and no CALLS"  for "3 weeks" I don't usually expect to see replies from a corporate employee on 2-5, 2-7, and 2-11.  I'm sure that they are trying to assist, both taking responsibility and seeking out those who are accountable.

I am a Best Buy Employee, but the views that I post are my own and not that of Best Buy.
