Hey all, I bought a car remote starter which came with bestbuy professional install.
After about 1 month my car (2018 Lexus IS 300) went crazy. All sensor lights came on and the heat no longer worked. I towed it to my lexus dealer since its still under warranty. The said the person who installed my remote start did such a poor job that it messed up the wires internally. I was charged $380 for two hours of labor to repair this since it was considered an aftermarket install.
Today, I got a refund from bestbuy for the install but how can I get back my $380.00 which i had to pay out of pocket for the dealer repair? I have all documents from dealer that shows it was the remote starter fault. Thanks for any help!

Welcome to our forums!
Ideally, our customers wouldn’t have to deal with any issues after the installation, so it’s disappointing to hear that! I can understand how you feel and if that happened to me, I would be really upset as well.
I’ll be happy to take a closer look into this matter and offer any additional assistance I can, however, I’m hoping you can provide me with a few pieces of additional information before I’m able to do so. If you could use the blue “Private Message” button in my signature to send me:
This should be enough for me to begin my research, and hopefully get you the assistance you're looking for.
Thank you.
