Car Radio Installation

I purchased my Sony Radio thru Best Buy and had my radio installed by Best Buy employees yesterday. Today I am unable to use the Sirius XM feature in my car as it states “check tuner” when I call to speak to someone over the phone, no one is able to help me except for the workers that serviced my car. Then when I called the store they informed me that I had to bring my car in to be looked at. Seems like a strange request considering I was already there. Sirius XM has no record of my VIN number. I have no idea what Best Buy did that my car has no record of an installation and I have to now go back to the store to talk to the people that serviced my car. I’m unable to go to the store as a the day I pick was a day I was free. How can I go about getting restitution for my installation? Is no one at Best Buy able to help me? Check Tuner when clicking Sirius XM, why is all I need to know.

I appreciate you reaching out to us regarding your recent experience. It does seem a bit strange that you are receiving that error. For our teams to troubleshoot this with you, it seems they would need to see the vehicle in person. This allows our techs to see if any physical connection may be causing the concern. 

 

I would recommend scheduling a time with their team at your earliest convenience. They should be able to get this sorted once they take a look in person.

Hello,

I already had my car in for this service. Now I have to make an additional trip for this problem to be corrected? I have to take additional time away from my family, get a babysitter to correct a problem. This seems like an inconvenience more than help. I am sorry bringing the car in when I am not getting the full value of my purchase does not seem like a quality purchase.

I can reach out to your local store's leadership team to see if any troubleshooting may be done over phone.

 

That being said, they may still recommend that the vehicle come into the shop.
