Car Audio Installation Issues

To Whom This May Concern,

 

I ordered a Kenwood GPS DVD player in November 2019 and scheduled to get it installed on 12/11/2019 2:00 pm at the Kennesaw, Ga location (#501). The installer's, however, had difficulty installing the Pac system which resulted in my AC unit not functioning properly (Front/Rear Defroster not working). Also, the GPS system is not picking up a signal. The installer informed me he was having trouble recovering another system to assist with the install due to it being on backorder. I feel this is unacceptable due to the danger of not having any defroster. Can anyone help with this issue?

First and foremost we want to make sure that your car is working as it should with the radio installed too.  That said, I'm sorry to hear that you haven't had the installation go as smoothly as we'd hope, and I'm wanting to point you in the right direction. 

The part that is on backorder is the GPS system correct?  Or, are you stating the parts for your vehicle defrost and AC unit are on backorder?  Either way, you'd be best working with the store leaders to get this taken care of.  If you haven't already, I'd return or call the store to speak with a manager to let them know what is going on.  at that time I'd recommend seeing if they can find a time to take a look to make sure the radio isn't causing the AC/Heat/Rear defrost to not work, and if possible, fix what is causing the issue. 

A moderator should be by to see if they can lend a helping hand if you're still needing their assistance after working with the store leader!

I am currently at the Bestbuy location at the moment and they are fixing the problem. I will provide an update when they get finished
