Broken TV Delivered - Customer Service Not Helpful

This past Wednesday, I paid for an LG OLED TV and scheduled it to be delivered yesterday (2/1/2020). As soon as I set it up, I noticed it was cracked in the bottom right corner. When I called for follow up, I was told there was nothing that could be done as it was marked in transit still. This made no sense as I had an email showing it as delivered.

So, I had to wait until today (2/2) to even get a conversation started on a replacement. The TV I bought to watch my hometown KC Chiefs I'm the Super Bowl is broken and I can't even get a replacement delivered until Tuesday. Which I'll have to take off work for. This is atrocious customer service. Best Buy has my $1,500 and all I have is a paperweight. I am beyond disgusted a company cannot expedite replacing a damaged product that was delivered. Shameful.

We know how exciting it is to purchase a new TV, especially with the Big Game that was coming up. I'm sure you were eager to receive this and get it set up so you could enjoy the game and celebrate! 

 

With that said, I can understand how sour your experience turned when you found the TV was in anything less than pristine condition. I'm glad you reached out to us immediately to make us aware of this issue, though I understand your order was still in a status that prevented us from beginning the exchange process on our end. While I understand that this was intended for the Big Game and you ultimately were unable to receive it in time, I'm glad we were able to get you setup with an exchange for today.
