My dishwasher was scheduled for delivery today. This morning at 7AM I got a call from the delivery/warehouse saying that they will not show up because the unit is on back order, he then told me to call the phone support, which I did. But the phone support was also unable to help me with the issue because they said the unit is "in transit", and also they'd have to scheduled an additional 2 more appointment, one for removing my replacement unit and one for installing the new unit, and they are unable to group the 2 appointments together, and here we are.
This naturally led me to raise a few question that I'd like clarified
First, if the unit is on back order why wasn't I notified till the morning of the day of delivery?
Second, over multiple phone calls why isn't Best Buy able to confirm a new date when it'd be available and schedule another date?

So after this post I've made another 2 appointments that got rescheduled, I'm still stuck with a defective dishwasher. It's been more than a month since I made the original purchase. In total my delivery has been rescheduled 5 times, and today I've again been informed that they will not make my delivery that's scheduled tomorrow. Trying to call Best Buy today I've been transferred twice, after holding for about an hour now as I type this Best Buy hung up on me as I'm waiting. I really need some kind of escalation as this has gone on for far too long...

I definitely understand your frustrations with this situation, and I apologize for the runaround you've been given with your dishwasher. Have you tried calling the Geek Squad Client Care team directly at the number Sean shared earlier here?

I sure did, and both time customer service assured me the unit is either in transit or in stock and would arrive on time for my delivery. But sure enough on the day of delivery I would get a call from the contracted delivery service that they do not have the item. Like I said, the exact same situation happened 5 times and I've wasted 5 mornings waiting for the dishwasher and still it is not yet resolved.
