I purchased a 75 inch TV from best buy during black friday for my new home. The delivery team delivered it to my living room and it have been in the box against the wall until today. After finally taking down holiday decoration we decide to unbox and mount the TV and low and behold it is cracked. We spent $650 on it and I am devestated. The return date just passed literally 2 days ago and best buy wont accept the return. I do not know what else to do but now I am stuck with a cracked TV and best buy isnt interested in helping at all.

Typically, the delivery team is usually a third party which is licensed and bonded to provide services in your area. If you believe the damage took place by the delivery company you can file a claim with them under the companies damage claim policies.
The return and exchange policy does not account for customers having an item in the box for many days and then opening the item past the return and exchange policy time frame. It's designed to open up the product as soon as possible, test it out ot see if it's something you want and if it's not or it's broken, to exchange or return it.
