BOTCHED DELIVERY- HORRIBLE SERVICE

Just spent 3-4K on a new fridge, only to find out the delivery window is 8 hours. Talk about managerial incompetence- 8 hours? So the wife and I coordinated to get the 8 hours covered. Then we started to get these harrassing emails and text messages instructing us that the old fridge had to be cleaned out prior to delivery. So now- we not only have to waste an entire day to get delivery- we have to figure out how keep the contents cool for up to 8 hours- nothing like customer service here! So we finally make all this happen- it takes us 10 days to identify an 8 hour delivery window when we can be home. We clean out the old fridge, everythings in like 5 coolers we had to borrow and ice- and then 5 minutes before the 8 hour window starts- some guy calls my wife telling her his truck broke down and he can't deliver it today. Debating now whether to just cancel the order. Called the local store and asked to speak w the store manager and they hung up me the second i asked.

In effort to ensure our teams have enough time to dedicate to each stop, the estimated arrival windows are typically anywhere from six to eight hours. In some cases, those windows are narrowed down the evening before, which is when routes are finalized. With the busy household schedule my family has, I understand an unexpected cancellation would not be ideal. I’m sorry to hear you were unable to discuss this with a leader from your local Best Buy store. I’d be happy to review the order, formally document your feedback, and assist with rescheduling this service.
