Auto Installer Damaging My Car.

I purchased a radio and 4 speakers for my Jeep Commander. I set up the first appointment about 6 weeks after purchasing only for the employee working to have told me the wrong date. So the day I took off from work to get this done was for no reason. After waiting another 2 weeks to get my car in we drop it off at 1 and are told he will call us when it’s ready. He called around 4pm saying he’s wrapping it up and to head back. Upon getting there my doors are still off and he isn’t done yet. So I had my Husband drop me off after the installer said “30 minutes”.... after waiting I am watching the installer and he broke the part that hold the panel on the inside of my door on, so I watched him try and tape it on, try and hot glue it on, and in the end he zip tied my door back together. He says it’s all good to go and I get in and now none of my windows will roll up.... so he says he can fix that.... at 8pm I finally leave, with one window still stuck down and my child safety lock being what turns my radio on and off.... oh yeah and the passenger side window won’t roll down. So I’m supposed to now wait for someone to magically get back to me? With one window stuck open? Just waiting for someone to break into my car now.

Re: Auto Installer Damaging My Car.

Hi, MollyS123,

Leaving one of our stores after having a radio installed should be something fun but it sounds like there has been a bit of a damper on all the excitement. The next step here would be to head in to the store and ask to speak to a manager. They are best suited to address this with you.

All the best,
