I just purchased a new front loader washer and dryer online to be installed August 15th. I pressed the tab to haul or move my previous appliances to another area of the house for 24.99 a piece. Home Depot will remove your appliances for free. I contacted Best Buy customer support yesterday to ask if they would waive the fee since I only needed to relocate the old appliances 15 feet from their current location but they stated they couldn't do so. I felt this was not good customer service after buying over 3K of appliances- when they have to move them to install the new ones to begin with- plus I could have opted to buy them elsewhere. I wanted to find an address on line to write corporate but I wasn't able to find it. The customer service representative on the phone stated if we did'nt pay the fee to have them relocated- they wouldn't be able to install them. What's wrong with giving two gift cards for $24.99 a piece if you aren't able to make the change in your computer?? You'd think you'd want a return customer Again- i was just asking to have them moved 15 feet.

Welcome to our community forums. I appreciate you taking the time to visit our community forums and letting us know about your recent experience with this purchase. I know that moving an appliance is never an easy task and can understand wanting to get assistance with moving them.
As the previous agent mentioned, we do charge a haulaway fee when removing or relocating an appliance from your home. While our Price Match Guarantee does allow us to match the price of a product at another retailer, this does not apply to services like installation or removing products.
Thank you for taking the time to provide us your feedback so we can continue to improve our customer service in the future. Please let me know if I can do anything to assist you with this order at this time.
