If you saw this email would you think your appointment is still set?
"We'll see you soon, CHRISTOPHER. Your appointment is set for Thursday February 06, 2020 at 12:15pm. Please arrive five minutes before your appointment time and check in at the Vehicle Installation Center. Generally, this is located along the side or at the rear of your Best Buy store."
That's what I got, along with another reminder last week. I had purchased a remote start+install over a month ago in Dec.
Today at the Towson/Timonium MD location was told there was no way I had an appointment today until they verified and saw me in the system. I spoke with Mike, Geek Squad, and he informed me that they had contacted all customers with appointments to cancel. I was very upset that I had wasted an hour of my day, drove 40 miles roundtrip (in the rain) and that I was receive no compensation but that I could feel free to reschedule.
Just to test, I was able to confirm a new appointment for another Friday, even though I was told that the tech that installs remote start is only working on Sundays. The signage on the outside of the building indicates otherwise, and needs to be changed as well.

Hello, chawman,
Welcome to the Best Buy Community forums, and thanks for reaching out. As a former employee, I'm sure you know how much we value the time of our customers. We want to be sure that all appointments are correct, and that we're contacting clients when things change.
Can you please get back to me through a private message by using the link in my signature below this post? If you include your name, email address, and phone number, a long with the make, model, year and trim of your car, I'll get started looking into this.
Sincerely

Hi, chawman,
Thanks very much, but I didn't receive the private message.
Can you try to re-send it for me?
Sincerely,
